One Sitting Education

One Sitting Education concept has arrived from the need the student felt. Basically, the concept was quite old. On the similar pattern National Institute of open schooling concept was devised. The urge of getting a minimum qualification i.e.class X govt felt the need for those student who couldn't succeed in the regular mode . There were lacs of students who couldn't get their class X certificate for which they couldn't do their higher courses . Most of them couldn't complete their education due to age factor, some couldn't complete for monetary reason, some for other purposes . Hence, to fulfil the needs of the ordinary student govt felt the urge of single sitting exam pattern. Thereby, following some basic needs like age proof, address proof, education proof or self education proof one can sit in NIOS exam class X board , thereby they however easily succeed the same and can do their higher classes without any hitch. Thus govt found a win win situation by adopting such pattern where the student get through their basic qualification and govt get the number of learners.

Following the same pattern some universities have also commenced one sitting pattern. Although the UGC has not given grant to such pattern of education but some distance mode university practice such pattern.
