The Board of School & Technical Education (C.G.) was established Under Indian Trust Act 1882 & Registered with planning commission (New Delhi), Govt. of India. BSTE is an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified Organization.

It's head office s situated in bilaspur, chattisgarh. It dissminate both life orinented education & job oriented education.
BSTE is only board which has bough school to every student door step. It has introduced open school education system. It is the board which renders school to the tribal people , rural areas, and to the poor stundents.
It provides free education to handicapped. Its curriculum is adding new courses such as certificates courses, diploma courses whcih are going to lauch recently.
